A Triangle native, Kathy has been active in property management since 1990, when hired by a local residential property management company. In 1996, she joined York Properties to manage and lease commercial retail and office space. Kathy holds an active NC Real Estate Broker License.
Lyle holds both Real Estate Broker and General Contractor licenses in North Carolina. He has over 25 years experience in most facets of construction. He has built custom homes, overseen condominium projects, and commercial shopping center construction during his career. He manages a variety of properties including commercial properties, industrial buildings and Homeowners Associations.
Anna Claire, a Raleigh native, joined York in August 2007 as a Property Manager and specializes in Association Management. Prior to joining York Properties, Anna Claire was a residential real estate broker for York Simpson Underwood.
Amanda Chadwick Rice has extensive knowledge in residential and resort property management. She has worked in Property Management since 2003 and joined York Properties in April of 2011 as an Association Manager & Commercial Broker. Prior to York Properties, Amanda worked as a Property Manager for several large real estate companies in Carteret County. Her various roles, duties, and previous positions have provided Amanda with a wide variety of experience and skills related to real estate transactions and management. She brings a wealth of local knowledge and insight into the Morehead City office and is a native of Carteret County.
Renee joined York Properties in 1998. She manages a mixed portfolio of Associations including condominiums and townhomes. Renee is currently working towards her CAI designations.
Carol began the management of HOA's and apartments in 1986 with York Properties handling the conversion of condominiums in Cameron Village. She now manages a mixed portfolio of Associations, including condominiums, townhomes and single family associations.
As the Regional Director of Operations for the Morehead City office, Sam Barnes serves as broker- in-charge and oversees its operations. He has 7 years experience in the field of commercial real estate; specifically in management, leasing, and sales of a variety of assets for his clients to ensure that their business goals are met. He has further distinguished himself by not only working in and around the Raleigh/Triangle markets, but has gained intimate knowledge, and a proven track record of success throughout eastern North Carolina. Sam has completed numerous transactions not only for his local clients, but also a host of regional and national accounts. Additional roles and duties have involved new business/client development, team building and management, marketing, public relations, along with financial and transaction analysis.
Lamont and her late husband, Lyston Farmer, founded Lyston Farmer & Associates in 1989, and after his death, several real estate companies approached her about a merger. Only York Properties shared Lamont's high standards of customer service. Lyston Farmer & Associates merged with York in December 1999. With over 25 years of real estate experience, including ownership in both commercial and multifamily properties, Lamont brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to serving property owners and tenants. She and her team provide the highest level of service and professionalism available in the Triangle. Lamont holds a North Carolina real estate license and is working toward her CCIM designation through the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute.
Virginia has been with York Properties since 2004. Before joining York Properties, Virginia worked for five years as a construction manager and developer's assistant with projects ranging from multi–family housing rehabilitation to office and mixed-use development. Virginia currently manages both commercial property and homeowners associations. She is a Real Property Administrator (RPA©) candidate through BOMI International.
A Carteret County native, Paula is highly experienced in real estate management and she places a high priority on good client service. Prior to joining York Properties, Paula worked for a local land developer for 2 years and a real estate attorney for 7 years. Paula coordinates the work orders, prepares board reports, meeting minutes and many other facets of association property management. She is a Carteret County native and is married with three children.
Lynne has worked at York Properties since 1978 and is highly skilled in property management and retail leasing. She is a licensed real estate broker and specializes in the leasing of Cameron Village Shopping Center.
