40+ years ago we assembled a small landscaping crew to serve York-owned properties. As our services grew far beyond our own properties, the good work of our landscape crews was noticed. Today, as a result of their dedication to excellence and customer service, Bloomsbury is no longer the single-purpose division it used to be. Though it still services York-managed accounts, Bloomsbury now has crews operating all over the Triangle for a large, and expanding, number of clients.
For more info on Bloomsbury’s services, contact business development manager, Julie Paul (email@example.com).
September 10, 2019 saw the beginning of Palindrome Week (plus a few days). For ten days up through 9.19.19 all the dates are the same when read both forwards and backwards. Well…at least if you use the typical format found in the US: [month]-[date]-[year]. The next time we’ll see this phenomenon is 12.1.21.
As a tribute to Palindrome Week attached are some of our favorite illustrated word palindromes from the September 2018 issue of PineStraw Magazine.
Our brokerage and marketing crew enjoyed an afternoon at Drive Shack. The Tex-Mex lunch buffet hit the spot and even those of us who aren’t golfers had a great time!
After 40+ years in operation the locally owned Mission Valley Theatre closed over the weekend. Raleighites loved the theatre’s hometown, vintage feel and great selection of beverages. Rest assured the landlord is trying hard to keep the space as a theater!

The Association Division began managing Bentley Ridge The Vineyard Owners Association, Inc. in January. “The Vineyard” community is a collection of 41 townhomes constructed around the “Stags Leap Circle” loop. The development was completed by First American Builders as part of the Bentley-Ridge development. We also manage their neighboring community – The Oaks at Bentley Ridge Condominium Association, Inc. We are very excited to work with this great association!
Cape Fear Seafood Company, which has been satisfying palates in southeast NC for over 10 years, is making its way into our market. John Koonce provided tenant representation services and found them a great location. Look for the restaurant to open in April 2019 at the former Lucky 32 building at 832 Spring Forest Road.
